The patient came to the clinic 16-April-2005 complaining of longstanding quadriparesis, which progressed with almost complete paralysis of the right upper limb and inability to stand or walk for several weeks . MRI of the cervical spine showed severe compression of the spinal cord at C3-4 with malacia of the spinal cord at that level with elements of instability of the C4-5 level . The patient was operated and anterior decompression and miniplate Syntex brand three level fixation done at the levels of C3-5. The patient immediately after operation showed considerable improvement of his right upper limb.
