Anamnesis
The
The patient was operated 10 years ago for PLD L4-5 with left
sciatica elsewhere and start to complain of the same pain the last 8
months.
On examination: he had scoliotic stance with
weak dorsiflexion left foot. Left L5 neurolysis was exposure of the
disc was done with foraminotomy of left L5 root was achieved and
removal of the extrusion and cleaning of the disc space was
performed.
Follow Up
The patient came 27-February-2005 with SLRS
45 degrees with pain and full power right foot
and no sensory deficit.
Comments
There is still an estimated postoperative
disc re-recurrence around 7%, since the disc space is not
completely shallow.
