ANTON SHUKRI HADDAD 73 YEARS CHRONIC SUBDURAL HEMATOMA LEFT CEREBRAL CONVEXITY.
Anamnesis
The patient came to the clinic 28-December-2003
complaining of ataxia and right sided
hemiplegia. The patient felt down 33 days ago.
He is a known bladder tumor since July-2003
under treatment. CT-scan done 27-December-2003
showing large left convexital subdural hematoma.
He is a know diabetic with arterial hypertension
for 30 years under treatment.
2 burr holes in the left
side, one at the border of the coronal suture
and the other at the most dependent lower part
of the left parieto-occipital area. A huge
amount of blood came out and after washing PS
Medical external drain was inserted. Routine closure
of the wounds. Smooth postoperative recovery. The
power of the right side became normal. The
patient was sent to the ICU for 72 hours with
the external drain.
FOLLOW UP
The patient came to the clinic 10-Januuary-2004
with clean wounds and no motor, nor sensory deficit.
The patient then came 14-February-2004 with
check CT-scan showing very minimal residual of
the collection.
The last time came 30-August-2004 with neck pain
and MRI cervical spine showing bulge C3-4 and
C6-7. He was treated conservatively.
Comments
The patient has a lot of diseases with minor
injury can cause such event.
Skyra MRI with all clinical applications in the run since 28-Novemeber-2013.
