The patient came to the
clinic 31-December-2005 complaining of severe LBP with left sciatica
for 1 week with agonizing pain and inability to walk or stand. On
examination, he had drop left foot with SLRS limited to 20 degrees.
MRI showed extruded disc L4-5 with left downward migration. The
patient was advised to undergo surgery.
The patient the next day was operated. Left L5
foraminotomy was done and the extrusion was removed in one piece and
minimal cleaning of the disc space was performed.
Prompt postoperative recovery. |
