The patient started to complain of abnormal jerky movements of the head with spasmodic torticollis involving the right
sternocliedomastoid and right semispinalis muscles. The patient came holding his head by his tow hands , trying to return his face to normal position. This started 3 months ago and made him unable to perform the elementary tasks in his life. The patient was given to him choices about Bertrand procedure and buttox and sectioning of the right sternocliedomastoid muscle and the advantages and
disadvantages of each. Due to medical and paramedical reasons he chose the sectioning of the right SCM. He was operated upon and the next day 06-June-2005 came with dramatic improvement of his condition.
