The patient started to complain of
neck pain for 1 month and the last 2 weeks exacerbation of the pain
with right radicular syndrome . MRI cervical spine done
04-November-2005 showing huge PCD C4-5 with right upward migration
and malacia of the spinal cord due to compression. On examination,
he had weak grip and extension of the right hand with weak triceps
right arm. He had hypalgesia of the median nerve territory right
side with parahypalgesia at the nipple level with weak both lower
limbs more pronounced in the right side. Discectomy C4-5 done with
removal of the extrusion. Prompt postoperative recovery.
