The patient was operated 2
years ago for left sciatica and she became worse after surgery. She
came with clinical picture of almost drop left foot with weak right
and left sciatica. MRI requested and done, showing huge extrusion
with downward migration of the L5-S1 disc with prolapsed
ganglions at right L4-5 facet with segmental stenosis at L4-5 and
L5-S1 levels. The patient was operated and laminectomy of L4 and L5
was performed and the extrusion was removed with the ganglions and
foraminotomy of right L5 and left S1 roots was performed.
