The patient was 08-Mar-2005 for LCS and complicated for unknown reasons for wound infection. It is the first case in my life doing such surgery and having such complication. The patient was covered with 1 gm claforan during surgery and gentamycin during the next 2 days , When the patient was ready for discharge, the wound showed a huge collection , which was evacuated and vancomycin , for which she was sensitive gave no result. Frequent dressings and tienam also did not help. The homeostasis was corrected and 2 units of blood and 6 units of FFP was given. As seen in the video the most probable factors were the obesity and reaction to subcuticular material used for suturing for cosmetic reasons.
