LIPOMA POSTERIOR ASPECT OF THE NECK.
Anamnesis
The patient came to the
clinic 02-July-2004 complaining of neck mass
posterior aspect of the neck left side for 10
years, The last months, he is feeling that it is
growing and and causing pain upon neck rotation. Not diabetic nor hypertensive.
On examination, the patient
is neurologically free.
The patient sent for
investigations and MRI cervical spine done
03-July-2004 showing the mass under the skin
huge , but nor involving the vertebral column.
Incision in the midline at
the level of the mass and the lipoma was found
and dissected and removed totally in one piece.
Routine closure of the wound. Smooth
postoperative recovery.
FOLLOW UP
The patient
came to the clinic 16-July-2004 with clean wound.
Comments
The lipoma when big
causing neck pain and discomfort. Surgical
resection is preferable.
Skyra MRI with all clinical applications in the run since 28-Novemeber-2013.
Inomed Riechert-Mundinger System, with three point
