The patient came to the hospital
13-August-2005 complaining of neck and right upper limb pain for 5
months with numbness of the entire right hand. On examination
she had severe weak grip and extension right hand and right triceps
muscle. She had hypalgesia below C5 root down to the foot right
side. MRI cervical spine performed 03-August-2005 showed PCD C5-6
with compression of the spinal cord right side with weak all muscles
right lower limb. She was operated and discectomy C5-6 was done with
osteophytectomy and removal of the PLL. The patient the next day
after operation showed dramatic improvement of her upper limb and
she was complaining of the left shoulder due to spasm.
