The patient suffered RTA 3
days ago and came to hospital transferred from elsewhere. He had
wedge-shaped fracture of L1 with burst fracture of D12. The patient
was neurologically free and considering that the condition is
unstable, Harrington distraction fixation was applied. The washers
were forgotten to insert. Postoperative course was uneventful
and control X-ray was acceptable. It is worthy to follow the case
and to evaluate the roll of the missing washers.
