15-AUGUST-2021 JAMILEH HASAN HALAYQEH HUGE EXTRUDED DISC
C6-7 WITH RIGHT FORAMINAL OCCLUSION.
Anamnesis
The patient came to the clinic 12-August-2021
complaining of neck pain with right upper limb
for 3 weeks with cephalic pain.
On examination, the patient in agonizing pain
and triggered with movement of the head to all
direction more up with limitation. There is weak
grip, extension right hand 4/5 and right triceps
muscle 3/5. There is hypalgesia right median
distribution.
The patient sent for investigations, which done
the next day showing huge extruded disc C6-7
with right foraminal occlusion.
Using the C-arm. the C6-7
level was identified and discectomy of C6-7 was
performed and the extrusion was removed from the
right side, until the dura was seen at the
entire bottom of the removed disc cavity.
EOS
OSImplant 7x13x15 mm dimensions was applied. Routine closure of the
wound. Smooth postoperative recovery.
The power of the right upper limb improved.
She was sent to the ward.
