The patient  a doctor with severe neck pain for 4 weeks and left shoulder pain. MRI done 08-October-2005 showed extruded disc C5-6 left side. On examination, he had weak grip, extension of the left hand with weak triceps left arm. The patient was operated and the extrusion was removed and prompt recovery was achieved after the operation.
