21-MAY-2005  MAHMOUD FATHY HAJEER 33 YEARS  PCD WITH EXTRUSION OF C6-7 LEFT SIDE

The patient started to complain of neck and left shoulder pain for 5-6 months . The pain was radiating to the left chest wall, for what he was seen by cardiologist and findings were negative. The patient was seen by me several days ago and he had weak grip with extension of his left hand and weal triceps muscle left upper limb. There was hypalgesia starting from the lateral aspect of the arm down to the entire hand. MRI requested and huge PCD C6-7 confirmed and he was operated through anterior approach. The huge extrusion in the left side was removed. The patient immediately regained power after the operation.
