The patient started to complain of LBP with bilateral sciatica for more than 5 months. All conservative measures failed to improve her condition and she could not stand for 1 min. MRI performed, showing segmental stenosis L4-5 with extruded disc L4-5 more to the left and bulging L5-S1. On examination the patient had severe weakness of the left foot dorsi and planterflexion and weak dorsiflexion right foot. Laminectomy L5 and partial of L4 and S1 was done and bilateral foraminotomy L5 roots was done. Bilateral cleaning L4-5 disc space was performed. Exploration of the right S1 root revealed absent of gross pathology. The power of the feet normalized after surgery.
