The patient  has numbness of the right hand for 10 years and the left hand for 4 years. Right shoulder pain for 20 years. Hypertrophy of the prostate for 6 years. MRI cervical done 24-May-2005 showing the above mentioned diagnosis. On examination; the patient had also numbness of the left lower limb for three years. He had weak grip and extension of the right hand and extension of the left hand and biceps brachii right arm and both triceps mm. Hoffmann sign positive both sides with exaggerated deep reflexes. The patient underwent decompression of the cervical spine at the mentioned level and fusion, using Syntex miniplate with fusion of C3-4-5-6 was achieved. The patient was discharged the next day with normalization of his power.
