UNACCEPTABLE FIXATION OF C5-6 WITH TETRAPLEGIA AT C4 LEVEL.
Anamnesis
The patient in the ICU in ventilator with check
X-ray showing unacceptable reduction of the
fracture dislocated site.
The patient was taken to the
operating room and the wound opened and the
construct was removed and using the same graft,
but Scientx three level was used to fuse C5-6-7.
Several check with C-arm showed acceptable
reduction.
Routine closure of the wound.
The patient was sent to the
ICU with ventilator and followed by ICU staff.
FOLLOW UP
The patient
was followed by the staff of the ICU of Shmaisani
hospital.
Comments
The first fixation was not
sufficient, for what the second more wide spread was
applied.
Skyra MRI with all clinical applications in the run since 28-Novemeber-2013.
Inomed Riechert-Mundinger System, with three point
fixation is the most accurate system in the market. The microdrive and
its sensor gives feed back about the localization.
