The patient was operated by  me 21-December-1999 for plasmocytoma C5-6-7 and anterior and posterior removal of the lesion was performed with fusion. The patient after surgery progressed right eye blindness after the surgery and sent to ophthalmology. Glaucoma was indentified and received the adequate treatment. The patient improved of his paraplegia and came to the clinic several times. Then he came 11-July-2002 telling that the last 2 months got neck and right upper limb pain. Cervical X-ray done 18-May-2002 showing good alignment of the constructs.

On examination: The patient has neck pain with right upper limb pain. Neurologically he is free.

She was sent for investigations and CT-scan done 30-July-2002 showing recurrence of the tumor with destruction of C6.7 and D1.

Through anterior approach, the plate and screws were removed and all the tumorous tissues involved were removed. The vertebral arteries were identified and the running right brachial plexus preserved. Using fibular graft and 4 level Scientx plate fusion of C5-6-7 and D1 was applied.  Routine closure of the wound.

Smooth postoperative recovery. He was sent to the ward.

The patient came to the clinic 05-October-2002 with clean wound and acceptable constructs and no pain in the right upper limb. He was advised to undergo radiotherapy.

The patient then came 11-January-2003 after undergoing radiotherapy. Now he is neurologically free. The subclavian and vertebral arteries are palpable and pulsating well. He was advised to make control CT-scan afte 6 months, but he disappeared.

The patient escaped the long-term follow up and I do not have idea what happened next.
