The patient started to
complain of LBP for 7 months with right sciatica with numbness of
the right foot and scoliotic stance. MRI showed extruded disc L5-S1.
On examination there was weak planter and dorsiflexion all toes
right foot with hypalgesia of the right S1 dermatome. The patient
was operated and right L5-S1 was performed with foraminotomy of
right S1 root. The extruded disc was removed and minimal cleaning of
the disc space was performed.
