EXTRUDED DISC C6-7 WITH RIGHT FORAMINAL OCCLUSION.
Anamnesis
The patient came to the clinic 22-June-2022
complaining of severe neck pain with right upper
limb pain for 3 days with numbness right hand.
On examination, the patient is in agonizing
pain, with the head bended to the right
shoulder. MRI done today showing huge extruded
disc C6-7 with right foraminal occlusion. There
is weak grip and extension of the right hand
with the right triceps muscle 4/5. There is no
myelopathic syndrome.
Using the C-arm. the C6-7 level was identified
and discectomy of C6-7 was performed and the
extrusion was removed, until the dura was seen
at the entire bottom of the removed disc cavity.
EOS
OSImplant 7x14x17 mm dimensions was applied.
Routine closure of the wound. Smooth
postoperative recovery. The power of the right upper
limb improved. He was sent to the ward.
