The patient is a pediatrician suffering from
carpal tunnel syndrome, more in the right side.
Before the operation I read a medical journal
with sophisticated technology, showing how to
perform endoscopic release of the carpal tunnel.
Using the magnifying loupes replace all this
technology. As you can see in this
demonstration, the incision is only 5 mm length
and you can control your dissection under direct
vision.
It happens that there is an abnormal variation
such as the ulnar nerve running immediately near
the median nerve 5 mm above the tentaculum. This
and other variations can be controlled only by
direct vision and magnifying loupes.
