The patient came to the clinic complaining of severe sciatica right side over two years with escalating symptoms over the last month with scoliotic stance and limping. On examination, the patient had almost drop foot with weak planterflexion right side with decreased sensation over the right S1 territory. The patient was operated: Foraminotomy of right S1 root was performed and removal of the extrusion and moderate cleaning of the disc space was done. Postoperative course was uneventful.
