Anamnesis
The patient was operated by me for right CTS at
the end of previous year and now complaining of
signs of left CTS,
Using I/V block, release of
the left carpal tunnel was achieved.
Routine closure of the wound.
The patient was sent to the
ward and discharge.
FOLLOW UP
The patient
the came to the hospital 05-August-2003 with clean
wound and the numbness disappeared.
Comments
In most cases when bilateral CTS
present release of maximal side give later
disappearance of contralateral one in 80%. After 8
months if the patient still complaining of the other
side, then we perform the other side.

Inomed Riechert-Mundinger System, with three point

its sensor gives feed back about the localization.
