The patient came to the clinic 01-July-2002 complaining of LBP with neck pain  with left upper and lower limbs pain with chest pain both sides. The last 3 months exacerbation of neck and right shoulder pain and numbness of the left hand. 1997 suffered RTA with neck pain.  MRI cervical spine performed 26-May-2002 showing huge extruded disc C5-6 with right foraminal occlusion.

On examination: The patient has neck pain when rotating the head to all directions. There is weak grip, extension right hand 3/5 and the right triceps muscle 3/5. There is hypalgesia of the median distribution left hand.

Through anterior approach, using the C-arm the level of C5-6 identified and discectomy with osteophytectomy was performed until the dura was seen at the bottom of the created disc space. The extruded pieces to the right foramen were removed. The dura was relax. Routine closure of the wound.

Smooth postoperative recovery. The power of the right upper limb normalized. He was sent to the ward.

The patient came to the clinic 14-August-2002 with clean wound and full power of the upper limb and no radicular pain, but still hypalgesia thumb left hand.

the patient then came 30-November-2011 complaining of left sciatica with SLRS 85 degrees left side without pain and weak dorsiflexion left foot. He want to travel to Saudi Arabia.

The patient then came 28-October-2013 telling that he suffered RTA 4 months ago and got fracture C1 and C2 and was operated elsewhere. CT-scan of the area showing screws at lateral masses of C2. He has also fracture ribs. He was advised to keep in conservative treatment.

The cervical disci never recur.
