The patient came to the clinic 11-August-2002 complaining of LBP with right sciatica down to the L5 root without improvement. MRI done 02-February-2002 showing lumbar canal stenosis L2-3, 3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1. Cannot walk more than 100 meters. Thyroidectomy done 1983 without medication.

On examination: The patient has LBP with exaggerated scoliotic stance. There is weak grip left hand with Rossolimo's positive left side with exaggerated reflexes left side. Babinski positive both sides. Weak dorsiflexion both feet 3/5 and planterflexion right foot 4/5.There is hypalgesia right side below the umbilicus.

She was sent for investigations: MRI brain and dorsal spine, which were done 18-August-2002 showing dorsal canal stenosis D10-11.

Through 2 separate incisions, decompressive laminectomy L3,4,5, upper edge of the sacrum and lower third of L2 with foraminotomy both L3,4,5 and S1 both sides was achieved. Decompressive laminectomy D10-11 was performed.  Routine closure of the wounds.

Smooth postoperative recovery. She was sent to the ward.

The patient came to the clinic 02-October-2002 with clean wounds and still have weak dorsiflexion right foot 4/5. Walking improved and the hypalgesia descend down below the right knee.

The patient then came several times with steady improvement, but came 21-May-2007 with deterioration with MRI performed 07-April-2007 showing stenosis at D12-L1. There was weak flexion, extension left hand and left triceps and hypalgesia of the thumb left hand. There is hypalgesia left leg 20 cm below the right knee with weak dorsiflexion right foot 3/5.

The patient then came 23-May-2007 with MRI cervical spine showing PCD C3-4, 4-5  with malacia of the spinal cord at these levels. She was advised for surgical treatment.

The patient last time came 19-January-2020 telling that during physiotherapy at Tachasusi hospital felt down and got fracture L1 and was cementoplasty was applied.

The patient have a lot of spinal problems which needs correction.
