The patient has LBP for 7 years
with bilateral sciatica and intermittent claudication for 2 years.
She cannot walk more than 100 meter. On examination
27-September-2005 SLRS right was limited to 5 degrees. Hypalgesia
right L5 root territory and weak dorsiflexion both feet and
planterflexion right foot. MRI showing severe LCS L3-4,
L4-5 and right foraminal stenosis at L5-S1 level, for what
decompressive laminectomy L4,5 and partial of L3 was performed and
foraminotomy of right S1 root. Inspection of the disc at this level
showed old calcified disc for what it was decided to leave it.
